Photography Workshops
I first started developing the basic photography workshop after I received many enquiries from existing clients and prospective photographers, amateur and professional. It was a daunting challenge at first, but after months of planning and preparation, I decided to give it a go. All the workshops were held in-person at a local coffee shop in George where we enjoyed a relaxed and enjoyable day of learning and sharing. I really enjoy teaching and sharing expertise but I realised that I was offering the course I was learning a lot myself as to how people learn. So, while teaching, I have also learnt teachability and have used all the lessons I have learnt from the in-person workshops to improve the course curriculum into a very polished and professional product. I am thankful that I can now expand to facilitate this basic photography workshop online, extending its reach from just the Garden Route to a worldwide audience. If you are capturing photos with your camera in auto mode, or find it difficult to navigate around your camera and struggle with understanding how to get the most of the light around you – this workshop is for you. I also cover several business management principles I feel are needed to run a successful photography business.
